Single Account Policy

To ensure a fair and balanced economy and competitive environment within the game, each individual user is permitted to create, own, and manage exactly one (1) account.

Definition of Multi-Accounting

"Multi-accounting" is defined as a single person registering, accessing, or controlling more than one user account. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Creating secondary accounts ("alts") to store currency or players.

  • Using a secondary account to influence the Transfer Market.

  • Using a secondary account to manipulate match results (e.g., intentionally losing matches).

  • Managing an account on behalf of another player who is temporarily unavailable ("account sitting").

Shared Connections (Households)

We recognize that multiple managers may play ESMO from the same household, workplace, or school (sharing an IP address). This is permitted under the following conditions:

  • Each account must be operated by a different individual.

  • Interactions Prohibited: Accounts sharing a connection are strictly prohibited from interacting with one another. This includes player transfers, direct financial transactions, or coordinated actions against other managers.

Penalties

Violation of the Single Account Policy is considered a severe breach of the ESMO rules.

Detection

We utilize automated tools and manual review to detect multi-accounting patterns.

Consequence

If a user is found to control multiple accounts, all involved accounts (including the primary account) will be permanently suspended without warning.

Explicit opt-in

A manager cannot feign ignorance of this policy since:

  1. They have to manually opt-in to it when creating their club.

  2. You cannot create your club without opting in (see screenshot bellow).
